Requirements for Technical Committee of ICGdR starting from 2025
(1) All of the committee members should be ICGdR members coming from more than five countries/regions. Each committee should have a minimum of 10 members;
(2) The committee coordinator should be ICGdR institutional member. The coordinator and deputy coordinators of each committee should come from more than three countries/regions;
(3) Each committee should hold a workshop, training course, or mini-symposium at least once every two years;
(4) Each committee should appoint at least one presentation to annual ISGdR (International Symposium on Geo-disaster Reduction);
(5) Each committee should submit at least two papers to Geoenvironmental Disasters (GD) each year, promote citation of GD and actively serve as reviewers for GD;
(6) Each committee should recommend at least one individual to apply for ICGdR awards;
(7) The coordinator should attend the ICGdR board meeting and present the annual activities at the meeting;
(8) Each committee should update the website of the committee at least once a year;
(9) Each committee should invite at least one international institution or individual to become ICGdR member annually;
(10) A committee will be disqualified and dismissed if it ranks last in two consecutive years, evaluated by ICGdR officers appointed by the ICGdR president.
