The 23rd International Symposium on Geo-disaster Reduction
Last Updated:2025/6/16 21:20:48

Preface

With global warming, the occurrence of climate anomalies is blooming and cataclysmic geological hazards are becoming prominent globally. These events usually wreak greater havoc to communities, causing numerous casualties and economic losses. New requirements are put forward for building a safe and resilient hazard prevention system.

To discuss the hot issues in the field of geological hazard effects under the coupling effect of internal and external dynamics, this symposium, the annual event of the International Consortium on Geodisaster Reduction (ICGdR), aims to bring together academic scientists, leading engineers and students to exchange and share their experiences and research results.
